YES! IT’S TRUE!
Just in the past week, two unreached tribes of people heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the very first time! One is in Peru. One is in Ghana, West Africa.
AN AMAZING THING!
The thing that is so amazing about this is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been established in both of these countries for a very long time. Yet, no one had ever gone to the remote places where they live to tell them about Him. Neither has television made it into those remote corners of the world. Sound Amazing? Yet, it is true.
It’s quite possible no one went to them because no one even knew about them.
This same situation exists all over the world. Even though the name of Jesus has been proclaimed and churches have been established in almost every country in the world, there are still pockets of people, in the most remote regions of those countries, who still have not heard His name. They have never had the opportunity to believe in Him for salvation.
ANOTHER AMAZING THING!
Another amazing thing about this is that the missionaries God used to tell these precious people about His Son Jesus are personal friends of mine! I can hardly believe it. People I have known for a l.o.n.g time. They, themselves, told me this wonderful news. News of these encounters would be wonderful to hear about from any missionary any where in the world! But to hear it from people you personally know…is almost like being there with them.
WHY IS REACHING THE UNREACHED SO IMPORTANT?
Because Jesus and Father God want there to be people in heaven from every segment of the human race. They want representatives from all of them there.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” and
“For You (Jesus) were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.”Mary 16:15b; Revelation 4:9b
Next week I will be sharing more about these these encounters of the most wonderful kind. New names have been written down in glory, and all of heaven in rejoicing. I am rejoicing with them!
Are you as thrilled to hear this news as I am?
